The last week has featured some very cold temperatures and bursts of light snow. The active weather has been along the subtropical jetstream over the last 7 to 10 days. With major storms evolving in the Central and Southern Plains and slamming the East Coast. Another storm has been intensifing over Texas today and once again will head to the Eastern Seaboard. Highs will hang in the lower 30s Friday and Saturday with next system bringing changes through the weekend. We will have some flurries tonight and a better chance of light snow and flurries will return Saturday and Sunday. Light accumulations are expected but it will be turning colder with plenty of wind Saturday Night into Sunday. In fact, temperatures will be in the teens most of the day Sunday.
Latest NAM/GFS gives omaha 2-4″ of snow this weekend
In all seriousness, does anyone how many consecutive days it’s been now that we haven’t gotten above 40 degrees? Seriously. It’s 42 in Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City if above 40 and we’re not. I’m so getting a time share.
So…where is it?
