Good morning bloggers….first off I would like to thank CT for calling in sick today…ive got a week left and he makes me get up at 3am to come into work!!!! I hope it snows a FOOT on CT’s doorstep next week…LOL
A few things to talk about this morning. First off a very cold start to the day will make it tough for temps to climb out of the upper 20s. A southerly wind on Sat. will boost temps up a bit into the upper 30s.
The first of a few snow events pushes through here on Sunday PM into Sunday night. It’s a quick mover and more than likely will drop 1-2″ of snow.
Now the more important storm which models are still not very consistant on (shocker!!) comes into the area on Tuesday. Last night runs (GFS) closed this system off and this morning leaves it as an open wave. Canadian model…ECMWF…and GFS all paint out a swath of snow for our area. Depending on which model pans out, it looks to be an interesting storm. Now Craig, please keep the enthusiasm down a notch…LOL…this storm is still 4 days out and like I said earlier, the models will continue to vary on intensity and heavy snow placement on this over the next few days. As I stated a few weeks ago, the pattern of October will return this month and appears it is beginning. How long it lasts will be a bigger question. I will blog more on the Tuesday storm this upcoming weekend!!
